SHOP NOW2 YEARS OF RESEARCH
WasteBoards are created in collaboration with the Amsterdam skateboard scene. It took more than 2 years of research and development to create our skateboard. To maintain our unique caps pattern design we created a complete new production method to guarantee the right strength and stiffness.
STRONG BUT FLEXIBLE
During the development we tested our board to withstand a point pressure of more that 400 kg. We even drove a car over it and it withheld! The deck is designed with 200 anti slip studs and a concave. The slight fishtail is a small reference to our mission keeping plastics out of the oceans
WE SUPPORT MANY GOOD CAUSES
Most of our caps we buy from the KNGF Geleidehonden (Royal Dutch Guide dogs foundation: www.geleidehond.nl). They collect the caps to raise money to train their dogs. We have our caps washed and sorted in sheltered workshops where this work is very welcome. By buying a WasteBoard you support this chain of good.
WE LIKE TO COLLABORATE AND MAKE SPECIAL EDITIONS
We enjoy working with organizations and brands. We even make special edition boards together with them. Like the WasteBoard that was born out of our unique collaboration with super fashion brand KARL LAGERFELD for their Resort 2023 collection inspired by skateboarding.
Or the skateboard we made for the bicycle brand BEAT; not from caps, but from recycled water bottles to encourage more sustainable behavior among cyclists. Check out our COLLABORATION page to see what we can do together.
